PLAA time today finishing the sanding on IDLE’s port side. Good enough to start paint tomorrow. This is where she starts to look better very soon.

Sides are ready to paint after our second extended day of PLAA time.

Time for a quick shower, some food and off to my off-season work.

We have some real, boat curves starting to form. Another day of PLAA time done. See you tomorrow IDLE.

Today’s PLAA (Pandemic Lockdown Alternative Activity) time is with our 1965 Cris Craft Cavalier “Idle Hour”.

Taking care of some of IDLE WIND’S more unmentionable areas of need of attention today.

Considering the captain came at her with a drill and said “this will hurt me more than you” she did well in today’s operation.
IDLE is now recovering nicely.

A 50th birthday driving your 1965 Chris Craft Cavalier that’s what.

Working hard to get our newest wooden boat IDLE HOUR ready for water. With mechanical and electrical ready to go we focus on her hull, fit and finish.

3.5 weeks to get her done.
(no pressure)

We never like to pick at the scabs of life… However, if these issues are left unchecked, IDLE will continue to get worse, leaving her vulnerable to rot and decay.
